Description

iRunFastPace the ultimate runners pace calculator and estimator for iPhone. All for less than the price of a common "Energy Bar". Simply dial in a running event and your time using swipe gestures. A pace chart will appear (both forward and back) of estimated pace. Play out "What if" scenarios on the fly! Goes well beyond the traditional pace charts found in print today. Even computes out to Ultra distances. Standard 400m track events are available too. Fast, advanced computing engine is local to the iPhone, so no internet connection required - can be used in remote locations. Pace chart can be emailed or saved because it supports the iPhone clipboard.

Use Cases:

1). You just ran a 7:14 mile and feel like you can hold that pace for a full marathon, but would like to know what your finish time will be while you are still at the track. iRunFastPace answers that question among others with 3:09:39

2). Moira is running her first marathon. Dwight has agreed to pace her from mile 20 to finish. Many of her early miles have been steady conservative pace of 9:34. At what time into the race should Dwight expect to pick Moira out of the crowd? 3:11.20 is the answer

3). You want to run a 50 mile ultra in 6 hr 5 min, what should your 25 mile split time be? The blue bar area scrolls with a swipe of the finger to the answer - 3:02.30. You also come to know this is 8.22 mph.

4). While watching the 2010 Olympic 1500m Speed skating, your athlete does a PR of 2:11.0, how fast is that? 25.61 mph the tool says!

5). You just ran a 10k, you weigh 170lbs how many calories did you burn? 835 cal

6). You want to run a 6:00 track mile (1600 m), you are not thinking clearly after a fast warmup. How fast must you complete each 400m lap? iRunFastPace answer is 1:30.

Excellent app!

:
Must have for any runner. Easy to use and multiple viewing options. I've had several pace/finish time calculator apps before this one and none compared to the ease of use.
